Kṛṣṇa said that, \"I am speaking to you the old yoga system.\" Kṛṣṇa is person.

Prabhupāda:
Jaya. [Transl. Your health is okay?]

Jaidayal Dalmia:
[Transl. Your body has become very weak.]

Prabhupāda:
Jaya. [Transl. Sit down. What happened in the conference?]

Jaidayal Dalmia:
[Transl. There was a Gītā conference arranged by the people of Wardhā, I came for that.]

Prabhupāda:
Jaya. [Transl. Yes. What was passed?]

Jaidayal Dalmia:
[Transl. It was passed that all people together, those who preach Bhagavad-gītā, they should together preach and spread the message of Bhagavad-gītā as much as possible. And there should be reconciliation among all.]

Prabhupāda:
Jaya. [Transl. But does it happen? Does it happen?]

Jaidayal Dalmia:
[Transl. Let us see whatever little we can do.]

Prabhupāda:
[Transl. Sit down. So much preaching is necessary. People are looking for this in the whole world] There is good demand all over the world. [Transl. By distorting the actual meaning, they say.] “Kṛṣṇa is not person; Kṛṣṇa is consciousness.” [Transl. What will you gain by doing this?] Kṛṣṇa personally speaking, and “He is consciousness.” He says, yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata [Bg. 4.7]: “I come down.” [Transl. And these people don’t accept it. They write topsy-turvy commentaries and personal opinions.] Māyāvādī. Caitanya Mahāprabhu has condemned, māyāvādi-bhāṣya śunile haya sarva-nāśa [Cc. Madhya 6.169]. This is stated in Caitanya-caritāmṛta. [Transl. Their commentary is Māyāvāda or impersonalism. What is the use of that?] Yogaḥ proktaḥ purātanaḥ [Bg. 4.3]. Kṛṣṇa said that, “I am speaking to you the old yoga system.” [Transl. These people are giving new and personal interpretations. What kind of people they are?]

[break] Kṛṣṇa is person. Where is that verse in the Tenth Canto?

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:
In the Bhagavad-gītā?

Prabhupāda:
Paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān [Bg. 10.12].

Jayādvaita:
Tenth Chapter.

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:

paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma
pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣaṁ śāśvataṁ divyam
ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum
[Bg. 10.12]

Prabhupāda:
Puruṣaṁ śāśvatam. Govindam ādi-puruṣam.

[break] This is understanding of Bhagavad-gītā. But they’ll not do that. What can be done? They cannot preach Bhagavad-gītā. Sarvam etad ṛtaṁ manye [Bg. 10.14].

Next line?

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:
Yan māṁ vadasi keśava, na hi te bhagavan vyaktiṁ vidur devā na dānavāḥ.

Prabhupāda:
Ah. [Transl. His personality, neither the demigods know nor the demons know.] “I have come personally.” Yadā yadā hi dharmasya [Bg. 4.7]. Bhagavad-gītā. [Transl. This is Bhagavad-gītā. What is the use of speaking nonsense? That is why nothing was accomplished. But some how or other we have presented Bhagavad-gītā As it is. It is distributed all over the world. If something is prepared with pure ghee, there will be demand for that. And if it is made of impure Dāldā* [Vegetable oil], then it will go only for few days. There is a shop in Delhi where they sell items made of pure ghee. That shop is always crowded. And the price is also very high. And people buy. So Bhagavad-gītā As It Is should be presented. Then it will certainly work. And someone will say imagination, someone will say this, someone will say that. What is the gain of all that?] Simply waste of time. Śrama eva hi kevalam [SB. 1.2.8].

Vāsudeve bhagavati bhakti-yogaḥ prayojitaḥ, janayaty āśu vairāgyam [SB. 1.2.7]. Janayaty āśu vairāgyam. [Transl. Rejecting all these scriptural statements.] Yaḥ śāstra-vidhim utsṛjya vartate kāma-kārataḥ, na siddhiṁ sāvāpnoti [Bg. 16.23]. [Transl. One who discards scriptural injunctions, he will never achieve perfection of life. Śrama eva hi kevalam. [Transl. He will simply labor hard. These are the facts. Aurobindo has said this, that person has said that, another person has said something, all that …Hmm.]

Jaidayal Dalmia:
[Transl. You don’t take strain, speak less. You are feeling very weak.]

Prabhupāda:
[Transl. No, you all are experienced persons. Pay little attention to this and it will be a great help for us. That’s all. You have the capacity and desire also. Also you are a devotee. This is our endeavor.] There is good demand all over the world. [Transl. People should be trained and sent. They will accept it so much. These devotees here, their fathers and grandfathers have never even heard the name of Kṛṣṇa. But now. These Americans, ladies often ask—Are you American? They become surprise. For the sake of the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa they sacrificed everything.] Nobody can turn them now.

Jaidayal Dalmia:
Jaya. Jaya.

Prabhupāda:
Jaya. Thank you very much.

Bhakti-cāru:
[Transl. Śrīla Prabhupāda, may I give you some medicine now? This is the last medicine for today.] [end]
